Dr. Patrick Holden graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall Ketchum University in 2023. Dr. Holden began his studies at Ventura College and transferred to the University of California Davis where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. In addition to general optometry, he learned specialty contact lens and pediatric care at Ketchum Health Clinic and University Eye Center Los Angeles. Dr. Holden received extensive training in ocular disease and glaucoma treatment at the Veterans Administration Las Vegas and Indian Health Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital in Sacaton Arizona. He also enjoyed volunteering at vision screenings of underserved communities.
As an Oxnard Native and son of Drs. Knapp and Holden, Dr. Patrick has had the privilege of seeing firsthand how rewarding the profession of Optometry is and he is excited to carry on the long tradition of excellence in family eye care. In his spare time, he enjoys golf and the outdoors and is the proud dad of his Dachshund “Dax” and cat Phillip.
